Effective Date: October 22, 2026
Alhayek Medical Academy (AMA) wants every nurse and healthcare professional to be able to use our website and courses, including people who use assistive technology.
1. Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the website and the learning platform.
2. What we have done
- The site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link on every page.
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
- The site is available in English and in Arabic, with right-to-left layout for Arabic.
- Text and buttons are designed for readable contrast and a minimum text size, and pages work on small screens and when zoomed to 200%.
- Moving announcements can be paused, and the site respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.
- Images and icons that carry meaning have text alternatives.
3. Known limitations
- Some lesson videos do not have captions or transcripts yet.
- Lesson PDFs are shown as page images, so screen readers cannot read their text.
- Some screens of the learning area and the payment page come from third-party providers and may not fully meet our goal.
If any of these stops you from studying, contact us and we will help you find another way to get the content, such as an accessible copy of a document.
4. Feedback and help
If you have difficulty using any part of the site, please tell us which page and what happened:
- E-mail: Support@alhayekacademy.com
- WhatsApp: +966 56 796 1168
We aim to reply within 24 hours on working days.
5. Review
We review accessibility when we add new features and update this statement at least once a year.
